Applying to The Women’s College to earn a bachelor’s degree is easier than you might think.
You simply need to apply for admission and for financial aid if you plan to use student loans and scholarships to pay for your education. To apply for financial aid start here.
To apply for admission submit the required information listed below and attend an admission conference. You have the option of gathering the required material and submitting it as one complete package or sending it in as you complete each task.
To apply for a bachelor degree program, submit: an application form, an essay, a résumé, a letter of recommendation from a non-family member, and confirmation email that you ordered your transcripts.

Essay Requirements: Times New Roman. 12 font. Double space. Name and date in upper left hand corner. Approximately 500 words. Topic: Reflect on your previous academic experience in either high school or college. How can you incorporate what you learned about yourself as a student into a plan that will assure your success at The Women’s College?
Letter of Recommendation: A letter of recommendation from a non-family member should answer three questions, how long has the person writing the letter known you and in what capacity, what do they consider your primary talents and strengths as well as areas that need improvement or growth, and what is your potential for academic success? Résumé: A chronological résumé or skills based résumé are both acceptable.
Transcripts: Transcripts are considered official only if they are received in sealed envelopes directly from the issuing institution. Applicants with less than 44 transferrable credits must submit official high school transcripts or GED scores. Applicants with previous college experience must also request an official transcript from every accredited college or university previously attended to be sent directly to The Women's College. You can download this user friendly form to fax to request your high school administrative office. To request an official copy of a GED contact the Department of Education.
Note: if you have previously been a student at The Women's College, do not use this application instead call your adviser to reinstate your file so you can register for class.
Admission Conference
Admission conferences are designed for us to learn more about you and the personal qualities and experiences you bring to your studies. The conference is also an opportunity for you to meet some of our faculty and staff.
An Admission Adviser will contact you to schedule a conference once your application, résumé, and essay have been submitted.
Certificate Programs
Certificate programs are ideal for students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree but feel that they would like to fill in the gaps where that degree ended and their career goals are taking them.
If you’ve never earned a degree but would like to benefit from earning a certificate you are welcome to apply. (Credits will count toward a degree if you ever decide to complete one)
Financial aid options for certificate programs include scholarships and employer tuition reimbursement, federal loan programs are usually reserved for degree seeking students.

Special Status
If you want to take classes in any given quarter or interterm session and not pursue a degree or certificate program (up to 15 total credit hours) you can apply for admission through special status. Download and complete a Special Status Application.
