Chambers Center

The Merle Catherine Chambers Center for the Advancement of Women is a $9 million, 32,000 square foot center based on the campus of the University of Denver. Opened in 2004, the Chambers Center houses two of Colorado's leading proponents for the education and advancement of women and girls in our state, Colorado Women's College (CWC) and The Women's Foundation of Colorado (WFCO). Together at The Chambers Center, each organization continues its individual efforts while mobilizing to promote a society where the talents and skills of all women are valued, developed and utilized. Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) is also a tenant in the building.

Merle Chambers believed in the vision behind The Chambers Center from the beginning and Chambers Family Fund made a commitment to its creation by contributing $3 million. This lead gift helped realize the vision of a permanent home for both Colorado Women's College and The Women's Foundation of Colorado.
