Financial Seminars
Paying for Your Education Series
The Women's College offers financial advising and free seminars each quarter to inform students of the multiple sources of financial aid available to pay for their undergraduate degrees. The seminars address different aspects of financing a college education.
Topics such as financing and managing the investment in a college education, student loans, and tips for navigating student financial services are covered in the seminars. Facilitators use a combination of lectures, discussions and hands-on training to provide participants with a full understanding of how to pay for their college education.
In addition, a series of seminars related to scholarship processes is offered each year in the winter/spring quarters to help students prepare for spring and summer scholarship applications. These seminars cover topics such as the scholarship search, essay writing, resume preparation, and scholarship interviews.
