Off the Beaten Path: Violence, Women and Art, an international contemporary art exhibition showcases the work of 33 artists from around the world to address violence against women and girls globally and their basic human right to a safe and secure life.
Off the Beaten Path is organized around five themes that investigate violence against women and girls: The Individual, The Family, The Community, Culture, and Politics. As a leader in the community around the discussion of the empowerment of women and girls, the University of Denver - Colorado Women's College is proud to sponsor this thought-provoking exhibit.

Dr. Hynes is a volunteer speaker for the ACLU of Colorado. She works with the ACLU on a variety of issues because there is no better way to ensure social justice than by working to protect, defend and extend the civil rights and civil liberties of all people. Prior to starting her own research firm, she held a faculty appointment at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Hynes left the University and began her own research business. She produced and delivered high quality, customized research and assistance in business development for over two decades and over the years held various adjunct faculty appointments. All of our students are welcome!

Beginning this month, Colorado Women's College will host Leadership Salons: Conversations around the Great Issues of the Day to provide a platform where women thought leaders will lead conversation and commentary to address the great issues of the day. The first Leadership Salon will focus on health care policy, and many more topics will be announced in the coming months. Register here by April 5th.
