LASSA DONATION DRIVE
Attention TWC students! LASSA is collecting CLEANING SUPPLIES for The Women’s Crisis and Family Outreach Center. There are collection boxes in 2nd floor community room and in the advising suite. Needed items include things such as toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes.
EXTRA WRITING CENTER SESSIONS
So that you can get the help you need with final papers and writing projects, we have added extra Writing Center sessions on class Saturdays from 12:15-1:15pm in Room 342 of the Chambers Center for the remainder of fall quarter. In addition, there will be a session on Saturday, November 14 (an off-class weekend) from 11am-2pm in Room 342 of the Chambers Center. The Saturday sessions of the Writing Center will be led by Professor Noell Jackson. There are still Writing Center appointments available every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30pm in Room 242 of the Chambers Center this quarter. The evening appointments are led by Professor Ashley Argyle.
NOTICE ABOUT MEALS IN CENTENNIAL HALLS
Please remember that meals are only provided by TWC on class weekends! If you decide to eat there on a weekday or non-class weekend, you are responsible for paying for your meal!
CARPOOL NEEDED
A fellow student, Carolyn Hill, catches the bus across from Buckingham Square at Havana and Florida and would like to ride with another student, if possible. She has an 8 AM Saturday class. Please contact her to set this up at Carolyn.Hill@du.edu.

TWC BOOK COLLECTIVE
Our new book & theater club is sponsoring a Book Collective. Students are invited to visit the 2nd floor Academic Suite to contribute to our collection, browse our books, and learn more about our new book & theater club. This book collective uses the honor system; for each book you take, please leave another book. Our collection is starting with recreational reading - fiction and non-fiction - although textbooks can later be added if students wish. Students can visit this space during the week and class weekend lunch breaks.
TWC TUTORING SERVICES
Did you know that TWC students have access to free tutoring services? Get extra help with writing and grammar, communication and presentation skills, math, science, Spanish and computing this quarter with the Educational Resource Center. All tutoring sessions are free to TWC students and are offered on a convenient evening and weekend schedule. For more information on tutoring services, view the Educational Resource Center schedule.
