Career Services
Returning to school often raises issues about career direction for adult students. A career counselor from the Career Center of the University of Denver addresses the career direction, advancement, and transition needs of students at The Women's College. This career counselor works with students on their individual career strategies that include developing resumes and attending career fairs. The career counselor also works with students in developing and maintaining strong professional networks. Through the Career Center, The Women's College students and alumnae can take advantage of the following services:
- career counseling and assessments;
- resume writing, career fairs, and job search assistance;
- interviewing and networking techniques;
- a resource library with computer access to the Internet;
- on-line resources including a job and internship database listing current full-time and part-time jobs in Colorado and nationally.
